This week I have learned about the dreadnought it is a giant boat I have also learned about the biggest empires and about the no man's land it is where they start in no man’s land and then when they whistle goes they have to start and rush to the opposite side while they were running heaps of people were getting shot. I am working on learning about shrapnel mine. My behaviour has been good.

  We went to the water park. It was huge. It was so much fun. I looked up and saw the big water slide. I started to walk to it but before I could get to the water slide the lifeguard wanted to see my pass I showed him the pass and went on the slide it was so big and fun it was really fast I went back on it again about 10 times its was fun and then I went to swin in the big pool I was swimming for a long time then I went home.

Discovery

 Hello In Health we were set a task that required us to make a game on vaping with the short term and long term affects we made a game called vape monopoly we used fake money and for the tokens we made vapes for the tokens. The game was called vape city it was really fun to play. We chose to make/create vape city we chose to do this because it it was going to be easy and because its fun and we all like to play so that why we made it. Next time I will choose a different group some us worked good but some of them did not do any work.

Reflection

Hello people here is a Reflection on how my week has been.

In cooking the day before that I got a 2 and then I got a 3 the next day I believe that I showed respect in that class. In bio I got 3s in both class and I uselessly get a 2.5 or a 2 so I showed comment  in that class. At lunch I was making good choices and didn't get myself into trouble and I showed resilience. In health I showed achievement by getting all the work that I need to do and I got 3s in that class. In kete we are making snakes and ladder is going OK but our group can get really silly. When we had a reliever teacher in I did not self mange myself as good as I could and my beahaviuer was really poor in that class. My goal for next week is to get all 3s and not be late to school.

Eye Dissections

Hello people We cut open a cows eye we have been learning about eyes and that they have in side. 

The cornea is the clear tissue is the first layer of the eye with protects the eye.

The pupil is what lets the light into your eye so when its dark your pupil gets bigger and when it light the pupil gets a lot smaller.

The iris controls how much light you get in your eye.

The lens focuses light onto the retina.

The retina converts images into electrical signals that are sent to the optic nerve.

The optic nerve is a thick bundle of nerve fibers attached to the back of the eye it transmits  information from the retina to the brain.

The Humorous are the jelly and liquid in the middle of the eye that gives your eye its shape.

In the class I like it but it did not smell good so I did a bit of the dissection but then I left the class the I just went out of the class and talked to Rocki and Jesse but it was fun for the bit that we did.

 Hello people this is a bit about what I do in my life in level 3 do you enjoy level 3 and 4 what have you been doing? I don't know what to say so here is my work

200 word challenge

 One day it snowed. It was really white and everyone wanted to play in it but they knew they would get sick, cold and wet. The snow was really white everyone one was happy it was snowing as it doesn't snow in the city. It was heavy and light so many of the kids got really wet so now they will get sent home and maybe get sick. It wasn't something really special to me as I go upto the snow and walk in it when I go  walking. Most people don't get to see the snow that much because it can be a bit of a drive to go and see the snow if you live in the city. That's why heppes of people were happy about seeing the snow. Did you see the snow? In some places it snows all the time in winter time but in NZ it doesn't snow in the city. The last time it snowed in the city was about 5 years ago. How often dose it snow where you live and do you like going in the snow do you ever have snow fights and get cold  hands from it here is my story.

Hello people in class for the last few week we have been working on politics and how we can be a leader. We were put into groups were we had to make out poles on what we want to change or keep and make legal. I was put in a group with Hayley, Nici, Danni, Kyntayer. We had about 4 week to do this. If you have done this before then you know how hard it is and you might have something but then someone dosen't agree with it witch then you have to decied if you want that or if you have to give up on it. Home Economics assessment

 Hello people in home economics for the last few weeks we have been working on making a piece  of food for a teacher that we got to pick I picked Mr Gibson. Who I made scones for when I gave him the food he said he loved it. 

We had to make a shopping list on what we need for the food. we were going to make and it had to be in dealt of the right amount of food we need. We had to get the costing of how much the food was metes were going to cost so then the teacher knew how much to buy and the cost of it all. 

We had to make a sheet on our time management so then we knew how long it was going to take and then we had a plain on when we had to have it done by.

We had to find there recipes that we thought our stake holder would like then we had to read the whole thing and for the food I was making I had to half the whole recipe so them it would only make 6 not 12 

BEST EVER SCONES makes 6 The link to the original recipe

• ​1.5 cup standard flour

• 3 tsp  baking powder             

• 1/16 tsp salt                                            

• extra  milk

• 37.5g  butter

• 80 ml  milk, approximately

• 100 g edam cheese grated 

​Preheat the oven to 220ºC. Grease or flour a baking tray.

 

1. Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl. Rub in the butter with your fingertips until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
   
   

2. Add the milk and cheese grated  and quickly mix with a round-bladed table knife. The mixture should be quite soft and a little sticky. Scrape the dough onto the floured baking tray and flour the top.
   
   

3. Working quickly, pat the dough out to 2cm thickness and with a floured knife cut it into 12 even-sized pieces, then separate the scones to allow 2cm space between them. Brush the tops with milk.
   
   

4. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Place on a wire rack to cool, wrapped in a clean tea towel to keep them soft.

There has got to be money in being able to make scones that well!

 

The scones were steaming and when I cut into it the cheese was still melting. The colour is a delicious golden hue and the bright orange cheese contrasts nicely. I like the way that the scone is light and fluffy.

Is it import to know a lot pollacks I argue with this. If you want to be a world leadder then you need to know about all the laws and thngs you need to know so if you study it at young age then you will now what to do. There has never been a leader that has known evey law but they most of them and thats why they are sush good leaders.

 Being able to be confident when speaking is an important life skill I agree with this.  Because you need to be able to talk to a group of people if you are the boss or own of a place and you need to be able to tell them what they have to do for the day and then you can tell them all at once and not one at a time. A lot of good speaks in the world didn't like talking to a lot of people but they lured how to get over it and now they are grate at there job and they in sniper so many people in the world.

 Today's do now is we should have a public holiday. I agree with this statement  for the following reasons .  The way I show be ready for school is because I all way bring the right school gear and know what class I have for that day and I bring my PE gear on the day I have PE. I bring my Chromebook everyday. my phone is off and out of sight. I line up respectfully. I need to work on using good manners because when I get angry I sometimes start to swear and I have trouble using manners. I need to work on meeting deadlines because I sometimes don't get all my work done then I get in trouble so if I meet the deadlines I won't get in trouble.

 Hello readers for the last couple of weeks we have been doing science we have been doing some experiments today we started to do concentration and dilution today we started working on another experiment. Concentrations means to measure how much solute has been dissolved into the solvent. Dilute means it is weak and concentrated means that it is strongly concentrated. We will be using Potassium Permanganate.

 The princlpal is the most inported person in the school. I agree with this statement. The reson i agree with this satement is that they can stand you down and make the call on what to do about you with your behaure.  when I got into truble the peinsable stood me down and then we had a metting and he said he makes disons like that for the saftey of the kids. There for i beleave that they are the most inportend person in the school.

Shark infrsted custard

 Hello people, in health we are doing the shark infested custard witch means we ha 3 ho all hops and we had to get all of our team to the other side of the court. The ip skill I used was negotiation. The way I used negotiation was when I wanted to do it one way but did Jesse witch was not the best idea but he was good on the ho all hops. I worked with jesse, zac, Aston, Halley, nevava, nici, The warm fuzzie I used was good job. The success was really bad we lost next time we do it I think we need to do it with more talking. The helisons model level that i worked at was level 4. I was at level 4 barbecue I used fair play and  good team work.

Filtration Experiment

Hello people today we are learning about filtering so then we know what to do when we do it.

Separating different sized particles out of a mixture. it only works if they are they are the same size if it disovebd it wont work

Aim: To Separate a solution from a precipitate

Hypothesis: what do you think will happen I think that it will all be seorated and it will be clean

equipment:

Sodium carbonate

Copper sulfate

Conical flask

stirring Rod

200mL Beaker

Funnel

Filter paper

Method: 

1. Pour approximately 50mL of copper sulfate solution into a beaker.

2. Add the same volume of sodium carbonate solution. A reaction will happen, you should see a cloudy blue precipitate form. Called copper carbonate. 

3. Watch demo then fold filter paper to fit inside the funnel

4. Place the funnel with the filter paper inside of it, into the mouth of a conical flask. 

5. Stir the mixture in the beaker, then carefully pour it into the funnel. 

6. Observe what happened.

Observations and Discussion:in the end they start as a bule couler and now was a clear.

 When Greg meet the chartings  his life changed because he got a job and at the start they gave him food and he got to work and let him be the co pilot for the really car so he could race a car kinda.

When Greg tried to talk to his parents his mum was ok but when he went to go talk to his dad he dint want to talk  to Greg as hes still made at Greg and doses want to talk to him and his mums happy about what hes doing .

With all the critsem he get makes  him upset and feel lonely and wants to be like everyone else.

I think Willams  is stinking up for Greg because he belavles that Greg should be treat the same as him and his sister and he thinks what his mum and dad adatued to Greg is bad.

I think Gregs mum has changed her mind because she know thats what Greg want to do and she will not be able to change his mind i beavle in the next chapter Greg will be racing a really car

 Rugby is the most definitive sport in new zealand. Some of the best playeys in the world that play rugby are from new zealand there for if they had be here sicnes a kid then they would be used to playing rugby getting hurt and have really good skills. When you think about new zealand you will think about our rugby teams they are allways in the news for somthing they have done even if its just a little game it will be in the news rugby is the most played sport in new zealand. Just the outer day I was in adington and there way a game on you seen all the people where the team that they seporte tops on there was people eveywhere the traffic was bad after the game you seen all the people half were happy and all the others were sad as there team lost. there for I beleve that it is the most definitive sport in new zealand.

cup challenge

Hello people, in health we are doing the cup challenge which means we have to get the cups for one table to another. The ip skill I used was negotation. The way I used negotation was when I wanted to do it one way but did Jessies idea and it wored really good. The warm fuzzie I used was good job. The success was really good because we won the game 2 out of the 3 games. I worked with Jessie Faye Kristille. If we were to do it again I would do the say as before becasuse we had really good commuication and good team work.

The helisons model level that i worked at was level 4. I was at level 4 becuase I used fair play and  good team work.

 Schools should have more mufti days. schools shoud have more mufti days so then they can get more money for new things for the schools then they can go on more feld trep. and then they can rases more money for the school. Then if we did we can buy a new school van or new sports. For example we can have more sports gear then we might be able to make a skate park by doing that might make less dramma in the play ground and in class's. There for I belleave that we should have more mufti day to make more money.

Cats are better then dogs

 Cats are not better then dogs I think dogs are better then cats becuase dogs allways want to be with you and be your mate but cats dont want to be with you 24 seven were dogs do and if your sick or upset dogs are allways next to you. as a exsapile when I got really sick my dog was allways with me no mater where I went he was with me he would sleep next to me and all of that. Where my cat was outside most of the time and would not come near me the olny time I would see him would be when he wanted to be give food or when he was going to go to sleep.

Health

Tosay in health me had to make a tower. The ip skill I  used was active lesseing the ip skill I didnt use any werm fuzzys. I use the ip skill well as I lessend to the teacher and lessed to my group. and we made a tall tower and I lessend to the teacher.

I woked with ashton and halley. if I did it again I would have tried making it teller. I was working at a 3 today on the helisons moadel and I think I stayed on the 3.

I think that people shoud not have to wear school uniforms as people might not be able to buy the uniforms because of the price that they are. People rip there school tops and if you rip 2 then that is 100 dollers just there that is being wastied. If people did not have to wear a uniforms then you can wear what you want but if they get riped then it wont cost as much to get a new top of shorts. There for I belive that we shoud not have to wear a school uniforms because of the price of the uniforms if we didnt have to wear them then some famaly ould be able to do a fun thing all as a famly.

 School holadays should be 1 week long.

Hello people I think that school holadyas should be 2 weeks long the reason why I think this is because the Teacher's need a brake and then they need time to get our work organsesd for the team. The Kids need a brake too because if they didnt get a full two week holaday then they might go carzy and piss the teacher off like what I do and some kids not want to come back to school witch could led to people not coming to school. Then if they did not get the full two weeks then the studens might get anying witch could get the teacher mad or could make the teacher steesed out then they could quit. What would you do if they would say your hoiladays is going to be 1 week and not 2 weeks if that was me I would be mad if they didnt ask for anyones inpot into it and just did it like that. I think that a lot of people would be very mad at the fact that you only will have 1 week and not 2 weeks. 

Slide The Corner

 Greg dreams of being a rally car driver or a mackain. 

He doesn't tell his parents because they are sinetics and they won't tell him 

to be one too or a smart person.

Greg percents to punish him by making him respect year 11 and he has to do 

the turning. 

He doesn't complain because he doesn't want to make them mad at him and then

 they will shame him like what his mom's friends do.

They react by saying that on Saturday he will be catching up on what he missed because 

he came home late.

Greg doesn't have anything personal in his room because he likes cars but his parents 

wont buy him them.

Greg jumps out the window and goes to the garden. He gets some tomatoes and he also 

picks some carrots.

it is important for Greg to get a job so he can be an engineer and save up for a rally car.

William gives him money before he goes to school. He gives Greg 10 dollars to buy food

 at the cafe. Greg didn't have any money because he was saving it.

Slide The Corner

Hello people we are doing novle study and we had to do some things befor we read it here are my ansers. The book I am reading is Slide the Corner.

I think that it is going to be about a ralley car or some sort of race car.

When they say slide the corner I think they mean drift the corner or flick the ass end of the car around the corner.

Fleur beale is 76 years old she went to Inglewood high school she has more the 40 book's out for people to read. 

After reading the back I think that she wants to take after her Dad and Mum and be a ralley car driver or a mechanic. Or go at a fast speed.

Race Car Update

 Hello People if you remember in lock down I was working on the race car. Today I decided  to do a update on the race car so here is the update I have done I also include what car I would like and things I would like to do to the car.The race car has not had much done to it since we have had other things to do. We were going to get back into it during the winter time. The things that are left to do  are the motor  head as the one that is on it has a broken spark plug in it so we had to get the other one checked before we put it in and we have to do all the new wiring in the race car as we pulled all the old wiring out so we could make sure that wiring is fine and there won't be a problem with the wiring. So far what we have done is new suspension in the car, new buket set and new harness, new febric on the dash and new steering wheel quick release. We have made the rear and front diffuser for the car and cut the rear and front bumper so that they would fit. We made a new exorcist for the car. When we go to put the new head in we thought that it would be easy to drop the transmission out then take the motor out so then we could check the motor and then put the new head and then we can put in all the new wiring in so it would be easy to instill and it means we will have more room to work so then. From the things I have lured the car I would like when im older would be a Nissan 180SX or a skyline r34 or r33 or a ute or a toyota altezza I would get some new wheels and rims suspension bull bar brakes new exhaust new speakers radio big subs maybe new seats like bucket seats or some seat covers tints on the windows new floor mates a tool kit new shift knob. 

Some things that I would like to think of installing would be a new  fuel tank and new bushings, new wheel bearings, new sway bars, brake calipers with new brake lines. A new color paint job led headlights new battery all new fluid’s in the car so I know that the car is going to be alright and know it has the right oil in it and not soe oil that is not good for the moter and the brakes and the steering wheel and the brake lines and the transmission oils are the write news it need and then do them when they are required. Then I would like to take it too a macank so then it can be looked at so then if something wrong it can be fix so there won't be any breakdowns with the car I would always in the car have a Jump park or jump starter leads and a first aid kit good car jack and some tools so if something happens I might have a posterity at fix it so I would be able to drive the car to the place I need to go and I would always have a 12v air compressor so if a wheel goes flat I would be able to pump it up. I think that we would have the race car finished by summer. All the things that I have said about my car I would like to do as I have already started saving money for my car and car updates to the car. With all the updates I want to do will cost anywhere from 5000 to 10000 and a car could cost anywhere from 5k up to 15k which is a bit of money to save and to spend on a car.

I picked this one because I did the other one and I pick this because I want to do it as it's in the forest. You would find this in a colder forest where there are a lot of animals that are edible and easy to kill and where there is flat ground. The emotion in the film is high as they are getting chased by the cops and they are trying to survive in the wild by themselves. I think the director put this part in because he wanted to show how to kind of survive in the bush and how they lived on food that they found and where they sleeped in the bush. They used a long shot to show where they are and what is going around them and showing what the emotion in the film. I think that they have done all this to keep the people watching the film and to keep it good and insisting and not boring.
