get NZ writing

I think the stuff in box we will use to be able to see something that is hard to see with out them or with the post cards the might have a pen that makes it hard to read with out them. I think we might be sending the post cards to the school and they are going to send them back. Then with the other thing we and going to wright some notes down form in the book and then send them to each other.

Who are we?

The Maori people come from Polynesia

They came to NZ by boat /in waka

They brought dogs, rats and kumara
They get their food by killing the animals and fishing in the sea
They proved that Maori and Moriori descended from the same people by DNA and they speak the same language
Moa came to be extinct because they ate them all and the dogs and rats ate their eggs
Maori choose to settle in the same place they did because there was a lot of land and food

The Martian

The Martian is an action movie about a man called Mark who has to survive on Mars. The movie starts with a group of astronauts who are exploring space. While checking out Mars a big storm hits and causes a large amount of debris. Mark gets hit by some flying debris and ends up by himself. The other astronauts all believe he has died however he does not. He then manages to go back to the base as he is concerned about dying of hunger and finds some potatoes. After a period of testing, Mark discovers he can grow potatoes if he can find some water. He uses a bunch of supplies and makes a room where he can produce water through condensation. Although, this does not go completely to plan as he causes a mini explosion in the process. Mark is talented and gets the potatoes to start growing which help him survive. He also gets hold of NASA and they are very happy he is alive. NASA tries to send up a rocket with food but it explodes in the atmosphere. He then takes a risk by launching himself into space to get to his team of astronauts.
