I am going to use clear acrylic on my led sign. my sign is going to say not to be operate by idiots. i am going to use a green led light the i am going to have the whole thing flat 

WW1

This week I have learned about the dreadnought it is a giant boat I have also learned about the biggest empires and about the no man's land it is where they start in no man’s land and then when they whistle goes they have to start and rush to the opposite side while they were running heaps of people were getting shot. I am working on learning about shrapnel mine. My behaviour has been good.

 

100 word challenge

  We went to the water park. It was huge. It was so much fun. I looked up and saw the big water slide. I started to walk to it but before I could get to the water slide the lifeguard wanted to see my pass I showed him the pass and went on the slide it was so big and fun it was really fast I went back on it again about 10 times its was fun and then I went to swin in the big pool I was swimming for a long time then I went home.

Discovery

 Hello In Health we were set a task that required us to make a game on vaping with the short term and long term affects we made a game called vape monopoly we used fake money and for the tokens we made vapes for the tokens. The game was called vape city it was really fun to play. We chose to make/create vape city we chose to do this because it it was going to be easy and because its fun and we all like to play so that why we made it. Next time I will choose a different group some us worked good but some of them did not do any work.

Greta Thunberg is 18 she started looking at climate change when she was 16 in the video we watched she took a boat because planes run of things and creates climate change. she has never liked climate change because it ruins the planet one day they are going to take gas cars away and everyone will be driving electric cars. once they are gone then the planet will stat to change and climate change will start to get better.

 Hello people in wga class we have been working on some work with money and budgets. we are doing this for our business and market day work. Reflection

Hello people here is a Reflection on how my week has been.

In cooking the day before that I got a 2 and then I got a 3 the next day I believe that I showed respect in that class. In bio I got 3s in both class and I uselessly get a 2.5 or a 2 so I showed comment  in that class. At lunch I was making good choices and didn't get myself into trouble and I showed resilience. In health I showed achievement by getting all the work that I need to do and I got 3s in that class. In kete we are making snakes and ladder is going OK but our group can get really silly. When we had a reliever teacher in I did not self mange myself as good as I could and my beahaviuer was really poor in that class. My goal for next week is to get all 3s and not be late to school.

Eye Dissections

Hello people We cut open a cows eye we have been learning about eyes and that they have in side. 

The cornea is the clear tissue is the first layer of the eye with protects the eye.

The pupil is what lets the light into your eye so when its dark your pupil gets bigger and when it light the pupil gets a lot smaller.

The iris controls how much light you get in your eye.

The lens focuses light onto the retina.

The retina converts images into electrical signals that are sent to the optic nerve.

The optic nerve is a thick bundle of nerve fibers attached to the back of the eye it transmits  information from the retina to the brain.

The Humorous are the jelly and liquid in the middle of the eye that gives your eye its shape.

In the class I like it but it did not smell good so I did a bit of the dissection but then I left the class the I just went out of the class and talked to Rocki and Jesse but it was fun for the bit that we did.

 Hello people this is a bit about what I do in my life in level 3 do you enjoy level 3 and 4 what have you been doing? I don't know what to say so here is my work

200 word challenge

 One day it snowed. It was really white and everyone wanted to play in it but they knew they would get sick, cold and wet. The snow was really white everyone one was happy it was snowing as it doesn't snow in the city. It was heavy and light so many of the kids got really wet so now they will get sent home and maybe get sick. It wasn't something really special to me as I go upto the snow and walk in it when I go  walking. Most people don't get to see the snow that much because it can be a bit of a drive to go and see the snow if you live in the city. That's why heppes of people were happy about seeing the snow. Did you see the snow? In some places it snows all the time in winter time but in NZ it doesn't snow in the city. The last time it snowed in the city was about 5 years ago. How often dose it snow where you live and do you like going in the snow do you ever have snow fights and get cold  hands from it here is my story.

A schooner boat is a sailing boat it has 4 white sails it is big a long  it looks really strong and will last in the salt water if i was on the boat i think i would see a lot of rope some sails and waves and a stering wheel.

 The u boat was a German submarine that they used in ww1 and ww2 it was one of the most powerful boats in the world war. The u boat sunk over 12,850,815 tones of enemy boats which is a lot. 178 u boats sank in the time that they were used. The u Boats made USA and Brazil into war agents the Germans.

Last Day Of School

 Hello people we had to make a flag I did the Nz flag because it was the ezey's one to make. Our teacher is trying to get us to do the Winter Learning Journey but I am not going to do it because I have better things to do in my life here is my flag.

Hello people in class for the last few week we have been working on politics and how we can be a leader. We were put into groups were we had to make out poles on what we want to change or keep and make legal. I was put in a group with Hayley, Nici, Danni, Kyntayer. We had about 4 week to do this. If you have done this before then you know how hard it is and you might have something but then someone dosen't agree with it witch then you have to decied if you want that or if you have to give up on it. Here is our work I hope that you will leave a comment on my blog on what we can do better next time.

Home Economics assessment

 Hello people in home economics for the last few weeks we have been working on making a piece  of food for a teacher that we got to pick I picked Mr Gibson. Who I made scones for when I gave him the food he said he loved it. 

We had to make a shopping list on what we need for the food. we were going to make and it had to be in dealt of the right amount of food we need. We had to get the costing of how much the food was metes were going to cost so then the teacher knew how much to buy and the cost of it all. 

We had to make a sheet on our time management so then we knew how long it was going to take and then we had a plain on when we had to have it done by.

We had to find there recipes that we thought our stake holder would like then we had to read the whole thing and for the food I was making I had to half the whole recipe so them it would only make 6 not 12

• ​1.5 cup standard flour

• 3 tsp  baking powder             

• 1/16 tsp salt                                            

• extra  milk

• 37.5g  butter

• 80 ml  milk, approximately

• 100 g edam cheese grated 

​Preheat the oven to 220ºC. Grease or flour a baking tray.

 

1. Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl. Rub in the butter with your fingertips until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
   
   

2. Add the milk and cheese grated  and quickly mix with a round-bladed table knife. The mixture should be quite soft and a little sticky. Scrape the dough onto the floured baking tray and flour the top.
   
   

3. Working quickly, pat the dough out to 2cm thickness and with a floured knife cut it into 12 even-sized pieces, then separate the scones to allow 2cm space between them. Brush the tops with milk.
   
   

4. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Place on a wire rack to cool, wrapped in a clean tea towel to keep them soft.

They were so good that I had to share them. I gave one to your Dean, one to Mr Goodfellow and one to Mrs Wheeler. You are a hit with all of them!

There has got to be money in being able to make scones that well!

 

The scones were steaming and when I cut into it the cheese was still melting. The colour is a delicious golden hue and the bright orange cheese contrasts nicely. I like the way that the scone is light and fluffy.
